PRESENTING LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference is English. There will be no simultaneous translation.

LUNCH AND COFFEE BREAKS
Coffee and light lunches will be served according to the times specified on the programme.

The organizing committee and the congress secretariat cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

CLIMATE
Greece’s climate is Mediterranean, and it is a common phenomenon to combine different climate conditions in the same season. A few days prior to your trip, we suggest you check the weather conditions during your trip.

Electric power voltage in Greece is 230 V / 50 Hz and the plugs are F type.

ATHENS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Athens International Airport official name is “Eleftherios Venizelos” but is shortly know as AIA. AIA is the biggest and most known airport in Greece. Located 33km away from Athens city center, in the Spata area, AIA, is listed among the busiest airports in Europe. Modern and user-friendly, the airport of our capital serves both domestic and international flights. AIA is accessible via Metro’s Line 3 (Blue Line) and the via the Suburban Rail. Four bus routes connect directly Athens and Piraeus with the airport. All buses set down passengers at the Departures Level and depart from the Arrivals Level, between Exits 4 and 5. Taxis are available at the designated Taxi waiting area located at Exit 3 of Arrivals Level. ATHENS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The fastest mean of getting around in Athens is the metro. The Athens metro system consists of 3 lines ( Blue, Red and Green). The Blue line connects the center of Piraeus with Athens International Airport, the Red line connects the areas (and between) Elliniko and Anthoupoli and the Green line which is overground train connects the port of Piraeus with the northern suburb of Kifisia. There are common stations where someone can change line.
